DMV Spotlight shines a light on the Partnership for a Healthier Alexandria on 9-25-22.
Guest Allen Lomax, Chair of the Partnership discussed the city’s 5 year strategic plan highlighted by the Partnership in the Community Health Improvement plan: Housing, Mental Health and Poverty. Lomax explained the steps the city is taking from expanding access to mental health care to reducing evictions to bolstering education as methods to tackle the three top issues.
The goal, says Lomax, is to improve the health and well-being of everyone in Alexandria.
