The Washington Capitals acquired forward Anthony Beauvillier from the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday for a second-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.
Beauvillier, 27, has recorded 20 points (13 goals, seven assists) and a career-high 108 hits in 63 games with the Penguins this season. He joined the Penguins on a one-year, $1.25 million contract in the offseason.
He has totaled 266 points (129 goals, 137 assists) in 613 career games with the New York Islanders, Vancouver Canucks, Chicago Blackhawks, Nashville Predators and Penguins. He was selected by the Islanders with the 28th overall pick of the 2015 Draft.
