DMV Spotlight shines a light on Casey Cares Foundation and the World’s Biggest Pajama Party for critically ill children. Guest, Casey Baynes, Founder and Executive Director of Casey Cares shared her passion for providing relief to families with children who are battling life threatening illnesses and the difference that even a new pair of pj’s can bring to a sick kid instead of wearing a hospital gown. Each April, Casey Cares encourages the community to host their own pajama parties; at work , at school and in community groups to both raise awareness and donations. Casey Cares also provides birthday parties, gift cards and even vacations for critically ill children in the DMV.
