DMV Spotlight on 12.1.2019 shines a light on ZooLights at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo. The free event is an annual holiday tradition that runs from through January 1, 2010. Guest, Kerry Schneider, Head of Corporate Partnerships with Fonz (Friends of the National Zoo) shares the highlights of ZooLights including new exhibits this year including: a stroll through thousands of reflecting lights as part of the interactive art exhibit called “Entre Les Rangs”. Schneider also described the new glowing Animal Lanterns, Laser Light show and back by popular demand: ZooTubes. Schneider also discussed the larger role of FONZ, the non profit partner of the Smithsonian’s National Zoo to help save species by raising funds to support the Zoo’s mission.
